Shout Out: NatGeo Adventure + G4TV
We just wanted to shout out to the production management team (writers, hosts, financiers, executives, etc.) of G4TV and NatGeo Adventure. We guess we're just playing to our demographic, but seriously - good job guys. At the moment - we're really loving Ewan McGregor's Long Way Down on NatGeo Adventure (which is airing just now here in Southeast Asia) and G4TV's Attack of the Show (that funny buddy chemistry between co-hosts Kevin Pereira and Olivia Munn is just amazing to watch). And don't you hate it that you have all these options / opportunities to follow the latest reports from major press rss feeds (think reuters, iht, nyt, wsj, etc) but just don't have the time to sort through the clutter? It's good to have editors like the bloggers at G4TV to sort the best of press reports and give us somethign to follow. Check it out. And since we're on the subject, check out their referral to Wired Magazine's interview with Japan's current internet "badboy" Hiroyuki Nishimura who invented a youtube like service where people (with no censure) can post comments to a video as a layer on the actual video. Brilliant! As his success proves - it pays to be concise or creative (at least when you comment on video footage). Haha. But would youtube and father Google have the last laugh?
