I'm a PC

We'd heard about Microsoft's 300 Million Dollar effort to improve Windows' Brand Messaging system in retaliation to the successful TBWA "I'm a Mac" TVCs. At the time of this campaign's development, we were curious about what the final product would be like. Crispin + Porter + Bogusky have done well for Nike, as it seems, after all.

In any case, I for one, like it. Of course some of the Mac users at the office and our circle of friends and colleagues - hated it. I'm just pysched that Pharell is a PC.

PS - I want to see the scrapped Bill Gates + Seinfeld TVCs. Loving the internet claims that the ads were built on Macs.

Excited About Google Chrome

It goes without saying that I am personally very very excited about Google Chrome. In case you haven't heard yet, it's the Google-created web browser that was inspired by Google's meditation on the fact that in a world of Google Services / Apps, online banking, rich online media and the like - it was probably appropriate / timely to create a browser from scratch - something inspired and truly relevant.

There's a lot of search-interest on the subject, and no official word from Google yet as of press time- except for the announcement on their blog. It says that we should check in again on September 2 (US Time) for an update / download. So all one can do is look forward to it. Check out their comic strip format explanation (posted on the left) - or better yet - the official article from their official blog.

* We're loving Mozilla 3, but since the news of Google Chrome, we couldn't help but get really excited about it.
